He and Orika are childhood friends.Kanata is called by Orika as “Kana-chan”.Kanata use to be the assistant of Orika’s father which is a photographer. When He was little Kanata wants to be a photographer.Kanata used Orika’s photo for the exhibit which is the reason for Orika’s father to get mad and fired Kanata as hi assistant.Orika always ask help to Kanata which is the reason why Haruto gets jealous.
