Synopsis

This is the Taisho era (1912-1926) in Japan. Tanjiro Kamado is living a reserved but happy life in the mountains. One day, when Tanjiro returns home after selling coal in the town, he finds his family slaughtered by demons. The only survivor of the attack is his younger sister, Nezuko, and Tanjiro desperately climbs down the mountain in the middle of a blizzard to save her.
